About ZoneRank™

ZoneRank™ provides a method of ranking professional electronic sport teams on a calendar-month basis. Teams are accumulating points by playing in the most relevant offline e-Sport events around the world, and receive monthly cash prizes following their position the 1st day of every month.

ZoneRank™ is dedicated to promoting, growing and increasing the popularity of the e-Sport toward the mass market, and wishes to settle good and fruitful relationships with the existing e-Sport entities such as the events organizers, the professional teams, the sponsors, etc.

Tournaments points' attribution

Zonerank™'s worldwide ranking system is based only by events. Events are choosen carefully by certain factors that ensure professionalism. Those factors are:

 - At least 3 or more teams from the same month's top 15 must attend the event

 - At least 3 or more different nations attending in the event.

The top 4 winning teams of each tournament receives a certain number of points, following their position and the weight of this particular tournament.

Tournaments winners receive from 10 to 100 points. A tournament weight is defined following the number of ZoneRank™'s top 10 active teams attending it.

Teams points' attribution

The calculation is effective every 1st day of the month. Teams from second to fourth place receive respectively 70% 40% and 10% of the winner points. For example, if 5 teams from ZoneRank™'s top 10 active teams attended the tournament, then 50 points are allocated to the winner, 35 points to the second, 20 to the third, and 5 points to the fourth.

Teams lose points a month after the team\player receive their points, they will start losing points monthly in an downwise exponential factor (e-x) here X stands as the passed years.
